City Tavern harkens back to a time when dining was built around an experience, not just a meal, and when the whole community gathered to share beer out of the cask.
We take our inspiration from the 18th century tavern — a meeting place for poets, artists, government officials and the common man. Brought in from sailing routes throughout the world with fare from Spain, Portugal, Germany, and the West Indies, the food at local taverns was as unique as the patrons.
Our chef has created a menu that takes a modern spin on some classic tavern recipes with an emphasis on fresh, local ingredients.
